It is starting

Hot and bad air quality has made it hard to breathe today. Got to thank those that can not keep their brush under control but still like burning forest.

It's down to 85 was in the mid 90's, high humidity, and I'm watching the tractor put at the county fair! Couple of cold beers for supper, and I look forward to being deaf tomorrow!

Smoke from Canada is blowing down to us, it's so low, it looks like there's a fire somewhere in town.

Not quite that smokey but there is a gray hew to the blue sky we should be having on a almost cloudless day. They said real feel was 109° in the shade today with dead air. Nothing has gotten done out side today. Just been sitting here listening to the ac humm. Thinking I need to get the Ford going and find some where cooler.

Yup pretty much the SOS here 103 Heat Index and the humidity Is unbearable. I get out early work on my project until about 1. I'm usually soaked head to toe In sweat by that time. Then I'll jump In my giant hot tub (pool) to cool off a tad. Then I'm In for the rest of the day can't wait for August.

We were to have thunderstorms all day long. Anyway that's what was said last night. So far same as yesterday hot hot hot.

We finally got our little shower this evening. Hardly the all day thunderstorm they were talking about. Got hot a steamy afterwards. Even though my water hole had not dried up the grass, garden and crops were needing some moisture.

We finally got our thunderstorm today and they say 1/4 inch of rain. Did cool things off a bit but not counting on it lasting long.
Got back to working on the Ford transmission again. The replacement list is growing. Torque converter, front pump, two clutch packs, associated gaskets and seals.
Still got more to take apart so we will see what the damage is this time.

Not bad today. The A/C has been cycling for the first time in a week except for nights. By Tuesday we are supposed to be back in the oven. Now if my back just felt like doing anything. I did get the sheets on the bed changed before it said enough.
Hoping to get into the chiropractor office tomorrow and make an appointment with the spine specialist.

Thunderstorm last night, some rain again this afternoon. It's sunny now, but cooled down more. Temp now is high 60's, but the sun will be setting soon.

80's with low humidity, and a southern breeze made for another nice day. Maybe some rain tomorrow, wouldn't hurt the crops one bit.

Yes grass and crops could use some rain but I don't need it. Mud hole has just about dried up. Got work to due if I could afford the equipment to do it with. Shovels are cheap but the doctor bills are not.
