How you doing with the fires any near you?
no fires near us, just smoke, looks like the 65 Dart, and Coronet will be leaving soon, just waiting for peoples funds to go thru, and also the yellow 58 4x4 panel Bob built last year might be going, that is a real surprise, guy that's buying the Dart offered Bob 15k for it and Bob said let me kick it around

Wow, that's a surprise indeed on the yellow 58 panel.

It's hot and humid here, I guess we had our fall weather already, so just melt away until the snow flies. My plans for this year sure have completely failed, I have more cars and a bigger mess than I planned on. With the new storage space, I might be able to do some work this winter, but it will be early, and late winter when the temps aren't bad, as there is no heat in there. Might still be able to get the 413 and 727 in the Dart this year, that would make me feel better.

I expect winter to transition just like summer. We had really no spring and expect fall to be the same. 90° and two weeks later 30°.
I could live with 2 weeks of winter and summer. The rest of the year spring and fall.

Is Bob going to leave something to drive?

Morning every one, yes he is keeping 4 rigs, hard to believe we are going from 12 rigs down to 4, but it is for the best. another hot day today, we need the rain you guys back east are getting

Gone!

They did promise to take care of it? Preserved as is and not make a pile of parts in the corner of the garage.

Is that golden ground cover dry crispy grass?

Was a very nice couple who showed up to buy the Coronet just like a couple who showed up in a Dodge to buy the Challenger a while back, sad to see some of these go but its for the better Bob says, maybe the dude buying the Dart will show up driving a big Dodge Cummins

Yes that's a very dead lawn, and yes the guy said he will take good care of it, he has a very large collection of cars himself and invited Bob and I to come check it out

I believe I see Idaho plates. Seems to me Idaho is the hidden pool to pick from in this region, since it's such a long way away for anyone in OR or WA to drive

I sure hope people are being very careful in your parts K-Note72, I know the area is very dry down there, it is very smokey here and looked like a foggy day yesterday,

Morning, is this normal for that much rain this time of year, we are known as the evergreen state and I remember it raining here more than half the year,

Well today I am taking Bob to a casino to get him away from shop and friends who keep stopping by to give their advise to him, funny Bob has found so much stuff he forgot he had cleaning out the shop and sheds, he just says I wondered what happen to these. he is a funny guy!!

Between the southern OR fires and the Carr fire in Redding (and now one in central oregon), we're shrouded in smoke. Sunrise lately is more orange than any regular sunset. We were at extreme fire danger for a while, dropped back down to high, but still no running power equipment (which is ironic since that means I can't mitigate further fire risk by cutting grass and brush). Just spending my days cleaning up the garage where the Demon sits, and staying inside otherwise. Got a forged crank with the 340, but looks like the last guy mighta spun a bearing on the #1 rod journal. Once I got money I'll see how much it'll cost to save it.

Tell him I can relate - can't tell you how many times I've searched online for parts I need and overpaid for them, only to find (later) some I'd bought years ago and stashed away then promptly forgotten.
