Got so much done lately, I've been too busy to stay updated here:
-Got our old woodsplitter going (old engine was junk, had to swap in one of the $100 engines from harbor freight)
-Got Grandpas big chainsaw ready to go (good thing too, my uncle brought us more firewood and with those big oak trunks almost 2ft across, no way my lil electric chainsaw can hack that)
-Got a good load of firewood cut, split, and stack away in the woodshed lready (but so much more to go)
-With my Ranger acting up more and more lately, I like having a backup so I spent $400 and got this. So far just a couple issues I had to fix, nothing outta my capabilities, and runs and drives. I'm surprised the interior isn't thrashed, usually with rigs like this the owners treat em like a truck stop bathroom

We have had very nice weather here, going to a little breezy here today, Bob put up a gate yesterday to keep old blue out of sight, all materials were free from a fencing company down the street.

Guess who got a perfectly good wood chipper for $80?
Saw it on fb marketplace, guy got it with his house when he moved in but couldn't get it to run ever. I see it has the same engine as the old one I swapped out on my splitter, so I know the $100 harbor freight engine fits (even at $180 it'd still be a good buy). Get it, bring it home, and first thing's first, pull the filter and squirt o starting fluid. Fires up 2nd pull! Runs smooth too, blades need sharpening but that's easy. Kill it, let it cool down, fire it up again, fires first pull. Put the filter on, it tries to suck the filter down and starts dying, I yank the filter and it revs back up. Guy missed out on a working chipper for a $5 filter. Oh well, my gain

Snow and more snow. It's in the low 30's and it's wet on the bottom. Be fine if it doesn't freeze and stay frozen. Got to experience nice long trips up to the Twin Cities, both time when it snowed.
Wednesday got to drive up in the new Cherokee, and it was awesome. Went through everything fine and had great steering response and feel. Never felt like I was out of control and it told me what the road was giving it. We got to our destination one minute late, only because of a spinout being cleared. Roads home were fine.
Last night I got to drive the Charger on the way home took an additional hour and change. It was a slow trudge with the back end coming around quite a bit. Pushing into slop was a bigger concern, but it was sure footed when I needed it. A few valleys were difficult after I headed for farm country, but made it home.
I hate this, wet heavy snow, so full of water. Pay your penance up front I guess. Light flakes will come later on, I hope.

Rained Thursday and Friday. Finally some sun shine today. To late in the year to dry out so guess we are stuck with mud till it freezes or spring comes.

The weatherman was right, woke up to freezing rain. Snowed for a little bit, the snow/rain/wind has quit now though.

Heat wave today, 49. Tomorrow is to be in the 30's then the bottom is going to fall out and Wednesday will be high teens to 20 with a wind chill close to 0. BRRRR.

We got the snow, cold and blowing this morning. Must have settled down, Laura took the Cherokee to the doctors office the next town over, and made it back. It was messy early though, now it's gonna get cold.
