It is starting

Yeah, it wasn't bad, no wind. And only a little breeze before I was done. I got a few hours sleep, and got a free shovel at the brush drop off site! A nice old heavy wood handled steel shovel. Scooped out the leaves better than my rake.

Got started on another pile before I went in for some ribs before work!

I'll have to make some sides for the trailer, so I can make just one trip. The weather cooperated this year, and I finally got my ass moving and cleaned them up at the right time.

That there is a lot of leaves. If I had to go threw that every year finding a easier way to unload that would be priority.

I wonder how a dump trailer would work for all those leaves?

Only supposed to be in the 30's all week, talking rain tomorrow night and maybe light snow.

Funny, that's what the lady attendant said. If they were free, but they aren't, and this hunk of metal is paid for. It would be nice, but I can spend the ten to fifteen minutes it takes. That shovel saved me a ton of time. I even got done before someone with a small utility trailer was done, and they were there before I got there. I left some bits in the trailer that blew out as soon as I left, easy cleanup!

We did get a light cover of the white stuff tonight, so the site will be open Thursday, and my leaves will be gone.

We got a working tractor now, so when we get our fair share, I'll say screw the snow shovel! Until then, we got sunshine temps in the 50s
Youz a lucky bastahd! I'd love to have something like a Bobcat or a small Yanmar with a bucket and scoop. Or even just a blade hanging off the back, I hate shoveling.

We had some light snow today. Not like Locu got, but still a little messy. It didn't stick on the roads, only the grass.

I was running around in shirt sleeves and almost 70. Today just darn cold and maybe 30 if we get lucky. You can keep the snow.

We usually don't get cold air like this till the end of the month. Not ready for this yet and need some more 50s weather.

So this happened last night and this is from lunch today.

Still snowing now, light but still snowing. About 4-6" and now the wind is blowing.

Just got a dusting of snow. Can live with that. Can do without the 17* now and the 29 high for tomorrow. Supposed to be 51 on Friday. Still less than average for this time of the month.

Had the bitterly cold temps and a dusting of snow Mon and Tues. Had to salt sidewalks Mon. Not fun. Warming up into the 50’s up through middle of next week.

Should be better tomorrow as we had that Sunday. Today the morning was cloudy and cool. The sun poked threw at noon and the afternoon was nice with mid 50's.

30's here, some rain, froze overnight. Dryer today. It's winter, gray and dreary. Working overtime to refill the coffers. I did just get word that I'll be working during the days scheduled for my paid holidays over Christmas time. While some might be disappointed, I'm happy as a pig in shit, I'll make straight overtime wages plus get paid my holiday pay, for four days in a row. Only two days per pay period, but it's good money, and I need it. Cold, snowy, crap weather just started to look a lot better. I had already found out I can work one of the two Thanksgiving holidays for the same great pay. Two and a half times pay is nice.
