It is starting

It's now 41 outside, it was down to 18 this morning. Might hit 50 or better this weekend. Maybe get a little parts sorting /cleaning on my Dart suspension pieces.

Back into the 30's, the little bit of snow I got is melting. The coldest temps I have seen so far this winter were into the low teens no single digits or below zero yet. I don't count wind chill

We actually made it to 60 today. Was a nice sunny day and we were working. Tomorrow on a day off it is supposed to rain. We don't need more rain and have plenty of mud.

How can that be I am way south of you and we have had temps in the single digits at night. Do the lakes shield you from artic troughs?

The lakes do have a big effect on our weather and with the mild temps they are not froze over. The jet stream is further south than normal also, that may be effecting you also. A couple of the early snow storms that would have hit us with 5+"s of snow went south and got the border and Ohio.

I got to drive the 100 miles north to the Twin Cities to go to the eye doctor, awesome specialist who will be doing my procedure, and I felt like I stated the whole way. It was 34 when I left work at 4:00, 37 when I left the house at 5:00, and dropped back to 34 when I got here. I seriously felt like maybe 200 yards of pavement was not iced over. Good thing I'm used to it/numb to it. Got to play in rush hour traffic, something I seldom get to partake in! I'll skate back to home when I'm done here, but the winds will be up to 40-45 mph gusts. Can we say steering wheel turned 20° to either side of center? The Avenger loves it and wants more! On the other hand, we could have snow, so I'll quit complaining.

Hope you have better luck with doctor appointments than we do. Took the wife in yesterday for a 1:45 pm and got out at 4:30 pm. Seen the doctor for about 30 minutes. A very productive day to say the least. Think she has a damaged rotator cuff and will some have an appointment with the bone doctor.

Hope all went well at the eye specialist and you have a safe trip home.

I was there for two hours, and saw the doc for around twenty minutes. He doesn't screw around, very to the point but in a good way, I'm lucky he's doing it, other doctors have said he's the best, and he didn't right eye previously so this time is a refresher for me.

Hope your wifes shoilder heals quickly, I'm sure I torn mine some years back and just let it heal on its own. Took almost two years and I can't lift heavy things the same now.

What procedure??? Simple or Serious?
I just had an evaluation, the surgery is scheduled for three weeks out. Physical next week and all should be good.

I'm having a trabeculectomy, it takes forty-five minutes or so, and lowers the pressure in my eye. I sort of came to (you are awake for the procedure, but heavily sedated) during the first surgery as my phone rang, and the doctor was pissed at the students/doctors learning the procedure! "Heydoc, don't be mad at them, it's my phone." I forgot to turn my ringer off! Then Laura and the nurses had fun with the doped up guy. I haven't seen a video of that, yet.

Yup a 64, old ladys car has only 5K on it but she never washed it so it has the PA rot on the QP;s Son in law found it. And of course most of the stuff I can use on it from the 66 parts car is sold.
Very nice, Bob found and dug out the original steering wheel for his 65 Barracuda he took off over 40 years ago and put it back on, looks very nice, I have always know the 65 to have the aftermarket wheel on it, he then installed the aftermarket wheel on the 56 Chev wagon cause it is smaller than the stock wheel. we have a dry spell this weekend so we are driving the 56 Chevy around

Stock steering wheel back on after 40 years, Bob removed this wheel when he was 20 years old, and decided to put it back on.

So my brother just showed me the "used" car he just bought: a 2013 Challenger R/T. Seems to have a hard time keeping it under 80
