It is starting

Do you have power through the bulkhead, amp guage and ignition switch?
Haven't checked. I'll do that in the morning. I know I have power at all four terminals of my ballast resistor when the ignition is on.

You should then have power to the ignition switch-S1. S2 to bulkhead and relay start circuit check?

Same results inside the car. I have an MSD 6A if that makes a difference.

Just touched both terminals at the starter and it turned, so it's good. Not getting power to it. Still no power at the relay where S5 attaches when attempting to jump it manually. Chasing continues.

Have you tested with a light to see if it gets to the starter relay? Will it start with the ignition on and jumping the starter relay?
Just elimination. On reason to fix what isn't broke.

Finally low 90's and low humidity! Perfect for today have a friend in from Cali and a good day for us to go to Gettysburg battlefield before Carlisle later this week.

We have some warm weather coming, at least very low humidity, Bob has the pool all set up, and I am ready for the hot weather

The pool water will disappear in a few days.
97 here today realfeel 100. It is only supposes to get worse the rest of the week. Will have to wash the water off later with something that smells better. After dark when the temp goes down.

Never worked around a MDS system other than the distributor. Will have to google it.
What I understand still no starter circuit to starter solenoid. Switch test ok. Bulkhead ok.
Sounds like a broken wire.

Yep, yesterday in the car at the bulkhead with a light, I got bored with taking the videos. Tried another ignition switch, and another relay, just to check, and had the same results. Gonna see if I have a spare mini starter and try that. I'll double check the wires going to the starter, but I think they are good, have heat shielding on them. All the wires involved look good, unless I missed something somewhere. I'll double check everything in the next couple of days, going to fire the 500 tomorrow, hopefully!

Does the starter relay even click? Neutral safety switch provides the ground for the relay.

Yesterday Bob let our grand daughter drive the 65 Dart, our daughter was a little mad but soon got over it, then our daughter took it for a couple of hours cruising the back roads to Ridgefield Wa. then she took my old 55 4X4 truck out
