I took that one because the color just got me. I LOVE "Orange" and this one was actually painted Hemi Orange as the owner mentioned. then I KNEW why I was so drawn to it! LOL (ALWAYS loved that color before I even know what the engine was!)

OK........... but what truck are you referring too? Something I posted, or something you posted? LOL I don't see anything in your post referring to it! :p

that one is a 55 winsor 301 poly , with 55 300 hemi heads . the one in front is a 54 331 , and more 54 ind 331 , 56 354 ind strech'd n bore to 371 , one old hotheads builds a 58 392 , thats chryslers , have a few desotos as well 54 276 , (3) 55 291's , 56 330 hemis all . going rac'n with a 291 desoto and 371 chrysler at bonny saltflats , two different engine classes . and the austin either be 66 issue parts , or 71 issue parts . i'm leaning towards the 66 issue , there simpler then 71 was more funny car'd gassers . wanted that wreck'n yard build to a point . got a loadflite type writer shifter for it . an 8 3/4 set up , and rims . lol . got them as well . but that 392 with a 8-71 on it in that austin . well it would be a wick'd gasser . same sized engines , 392 is just a little taller and wider . 6-71 and a 8-71 are the same foot print and size . no newer hemis in my stack . 58 or earlier . but i'm a wedge guy first . got a more then a few of them , lol .

LMAO...........don't YOU KNOW IT!!!!!! As if what I got isn't already a MONSTER..........

no w's at all . just one d400 . and junkie is not the term , patina'da vintage collection of old work trucks , most drove in , all will need some sort of resto . guys that have been buying them so for . want to keep that crusty old shell and mod the running gear . but there are alot of smoggers in there , thats ruff for a hot rodder , but thats the chassi for the old big trucks , take a 88 fuel injected v8 auto ps pb disc brakes and drop a earlier cab and nose on it . that 4000 series jimmy would slam that stock suspension one ton . wouldn't it . and that c65 with this wreckers unit mounted on it .

Paul,
You'll have to get pics of the D400!!!! Also Scott, was calling me a "junkie". as I have a thing for D400's and D500's as well as W400's and W500, and he knows it and was only ribing me on the fact that I openly asked if there were any! LOL I want the frame and cab in workable restorable condition so I can build a HUGE pick up from one of them!

Here's the trifecta, I saw this one, again. I saw it before and snapped some pics as the owner was gassing up, he didn't look too happy as I was snapping the pics. So I saw it at a shop in town and took these pics today. Not sure of the year, but it's a clean truck, probably restored.
