Just some trucks I seen lately

After work this morning I saw this at a nearby bank, had a nice little rake to it. Always loved the short flatbeds. I had a RanCharger that had a cab and flatbed on it many moons ago.

The front end is either lowered or it has oversized tires on the front. They appear to consume a lot of wheel well.
My 9.5 ft. bed will raise the front a bit if the load is not balanced. That looks to be maybe a 12 ft.
With any where lift gate capacity the front end lifts quite a bit. When the gate is down its at 12 ft.

these came home today , 61 d200 is my 64 d100 replacement , 70 d300 roll back will keep it hauling . no more loading the trailer and hank'n it around .

So how does the D300 handle the load?

road very nice , 383 4spd pulls it around good , could use some hauling air bags like campers use . i just might have some in an rv i bought for the engine trans n r/e .

It's been a while since I posted any, so here's one I saw back in December just before Christmas.

It was running, an old hippie type guy was in the store, so I told him he had a nice ride. He was smiling wide.

And here's a couple of pictures I found of my old '67 Power Wagon. /6 with a four speed. We tried to drag it and pop the clutch, but we snapped the U bolts on the rear axle. It got shoved into the tree when we put it back. Bye bye nice grill.

I know the box was going to be saved. The engine was seized, floors were gone, bed was rotten. It needed a ton of work. Just a good old fashioned Minnesota truck. Those pictures make it look better than it was. Still a cool truck when it was new.

well then i got a 39 chevy cab n doors on a trade in on a rear end . so i grabbed some stuff i had and wa al its a chevy rat with a triple on a mouse lol

I like the looks of that Chevy, nice and low. Nice little intake.

thanks , everything just fell into place i was pickup a flathead ford engine for a guy and low n behold he had swap meet items laying on the floor to pick through . and then this chevy guy shows up with a cab n doors , front axles , 3/4 a 39 chevy pu hood one top side and both sides , springs and odds n ends . so i grabbed my 34 grille n shell , and a hood i picked up . i've got a fairly fresh sbc's in the shop . just need a frame to come through the door next , lol .

hey just got these in one i bought back the deal was going south , a 73 w200 4x4 dana 44 front and 60 ls rear 360 auto air ps pb clubcab and the other truck the guy had , a 80 w300 4x4 dana 70 drives front and rear no motor was 360 4spd ps pb se package tow rig with all the gear .
