Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

lol....we are definitely two meals apart timewise. :woot:
Roger that! That's what makes these forums so cool. I have never met you in person but we joke a half a world apart. I met Ulf from Sweden at the Mopar Nats a few years back. Cool stuff.

Good to see you're healing well! I still have a little Jameson Stout aged whiskey in my stash, just take a nip here and there, lasts me a while.

But it's cheap Fufu day again, on cup no. 3, unloading crap out of my truck, scored some free junk that may be useful, a small propane tank hooked to a stove, stove will be tossed, a boat gas tank with some fuel in it, some fishing stuff. Got a call letting me know I have to be in Minneapolis at 8:20 in the morning. I live two plus hours away! I'll be having more Fufu on the way up.

Finished up on a Monroney Sticker I was reproducing for a friend this morning while enjoying that first cup of the day... Well, it was actually two cups.
Just the top portion shown here of course.

Started the morning with one cup, got a second and took my wife to her mothers. They were heading out to a craft show. Came back home and had a third cup and fixed my friends log splitter, it killed the coupler between the engine and pump.
Here's a couple of pic's, the destroyed parts

I took my truck to the shop after the log splitter, my fuel tank still had a small leak when full, pump o-ring was seeping. The plastic tank is a little deformed where the pump seals. I tried again so time will tell if it's sealed. I then repaired the grill, my son ran down a little fawn the other night. A section of the grill insert popped loose from the grill surround, it's just melted together. So I pulled the grill off and melted the sections back together and added some superglue. Its on the back side so you will never know.

I had my morning Fufu, and raked the rest of the yard and loaded the trailer. I cut my trailer moving duties in half when I decided to leave the camper sitting right where it is, in the alley in front of the garage. Still have room to get a car or truck in between, so it's fine where it is. And I'll be more likely to move the snow around it. I'd let it stay drif t in if I pushed it back, the old out of sight mentality. The other half is freaking out about taking out the battery and bringing it downstairs. Works fine and we left it in the camper last winter. Oh well, less bitching I suppose. Had my nightly cup of Fufu, and I'm waiting for eleven more hours to roll by.

I had 2 cups last night during our Wednesday night life group and my kid called me just freaking out while he was at the gas station because he couldn't shut his car off. The key wouldn't turn back to the off position. Parked it in the garage, disconnected the ignition switch to shut it off, I got a ignition lock cylinder today and put it in tonight after work and dinner.
It went together good, I just haven't done one in a while. We used to see them all the time. GM Saginaw steering column, his is a 94 Olds Ciera, but they are all pretty similar for about a 35 year span.

Pounded a cup, hunted down my windshield guy. The kids Olds needs a windshield and I haven't been able to get a hold of him.
Took the drive shaft for the wife's Vue to the shop to clean and lube the CV joint, I added lube last year and the joint came apart on me. When I reassembled it I got it wrong and it didn't fit right, so I just pulled the whole shaft and it's been laying on the garage floor. FWD only last year, this year it will be AWD again.
I pulled the joint apart, cleaned everything. I see some dots for alignment, checked Youtube videos and it all made sense. It doesn't go together like I thought and the alignment dots actually are there for a propose. Got it back together, lubed really good and now it's time to put the shaft back in it's home.

Here's a video that shows kinda what I went through. Sorta a pain in the butt

So were dog sitting for Christmas, walked the dogs and had a cup, went and picked up a step ladder I bought. Had another cup when I got back, went to my bro in laws and got his snowblower running. Came back and had a 3rd cup and pulled out a vintage 73 Arctic Cat Panther, drained the fuel, mixed some fresh fuel, cleaned the plugs, connected the jumper cables to my truck then to the machines cable ends (no battery installed), got it rolling over and finally started.
Took a bunch of pic's and listed it on Craigslist and Marketplace. It has been sitting it the back of the garage far too long. It's time for someone else to have it as a project. Vintage sleds are getting huge. It needs some work, but I am hoping someone just can't live without it.:D

We had a sled like that in the back yard for some years, back when I was living with the brothers. We got rid of the sled, but the hood was left behind. Some goofball bought a motorcycle from me, and was taking anything he could, he was excited to get the hood, I was glad he took a lot of our trash!

Feel sooo left out.....don't drink coffee and haven't had a sled since I was a kid! Had to depend on hills since it didn't have a motor on it. Does ice tea count!?

Being from where you are, iced tea is your regions coffee, so the answer is yes. Next question, you don't do sweet tea, do you?:vomit:

I add some but can't stand it to be overly sweet like most restaurants make it. I also use Stevia instead of sugar or sweet and low. Some say they don't like it and it does take some getting used to but, rather use that than sweet and low. Btw, used less than a half packet of sweet and low to a large tea glass at the most when I was using it but these days, it's usually water at a restaurant. A buddy of mine used two packets of the stuff.....yuk.

When my Aunt and Uncle introduced me to the stuff over 50 years ago (!!), it was always served with about an inch of sugar in the bottom of the glass that had to be continually stirred to keep most of it in suspension........ :wideyed: I got away from it for a long while after they quit coming north for the summers but rediscovered it a few years back and like my coffee I can only drink it straight. ( Coffee in Brazil doesn't count in this statement.)
