My project dodge with a Chevy 350 had been sitting for 13 years. Any advice to get this thing running

Drain the fuel tank, change the engine oil and filter, look at the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, plug wires, check the coolant and when it is running flush the cooling system, change the fuel filter, before starting remove the distributor and prime the oil system, make sure there is oil in the trans, I usually fill the carb float bowl through the carb vent tube. This should get it running. Have you rolled the engine over by hand?
