The Dodge truck picture thread.

thanks , i'm a dic ted , yes i is . if there is a cur i'll stay way away from it , lol . i bought some non dodge trucks to sell for funds for my mopars . both are 30's chevy's . old rancher stuff from the days of orchard in the valley here in santa clara county . it was the fruit capital of the usa for years . there were alot of this stuff until the new comers to the valley saw dollar signs when scrap metal was around 400 a ton . these treasure were scrapped . now just a few are left . i grab as many are room allows . i'm do to get these to the shop any day now .

and yes i bought that w200 club as well . went to a great home . a bud had a smogger w300 and needed a smog free chassi so the 74 club was for him . and i get the w200 running gear . woo hoo , 360 loadflite transfor case and the 44 and a 60 with a 4.10 ls in it .

I get that those are 100 (more or less) year old trucks, and not even complete ones. But how can you look at something that has survived this long, and only see $$. Nothing wrong with that, but they should go to someone that will help them survive longer. Glad you got them.
 
thanks i bought this gmc earlier this year . dad died and non of the kids wanted it . sad . it sold to a hotrodder . it should be getting its new running gear now .

yes orangey is going to get some resto work done to her . the cabs cracked through the floor and rusted out around the floor and mounts not sure but its going to be involved . i'm driving go go green right now . slow /6 4spd w/ 4.10's . get towner and can haul parts n more for the resto . so thats the plan . a long time one . and my 60 d100 hotrod p/u should be done soon . so i can tear up the roads with it . until orangey get back at it .

ok I like your cab carrier. How did you get it from there and back on to the frame?
If you look above the cab in the first pic in the post you can see the trolley beam. If you follow the beam to the wall you can see the two chain falls hanging from two trolleys. I use it all the time. Pulling engines, truck cabs, car bodies, putting them on the rotisserie, taking them off the rotisserie. After I had it I didn't know how I ever got along with out it.
