When you do plan your own shop go as big as you can. I have heard lots of guy's say I wish I would have built it bigger. At home I have a two car garage and with all the junk piled up it's like a one car. Enough room for the wife's Vue

I'm planning on 50'x100'. Overkill, not really. I planned it out and even drew it out in scale and made all the cars and trucks in colored paper to verify it was going to be enough. Half of it will be filled with the cars and trucks, and I'll split the remaining half into a shop area and storage/man cave. I'll build some storage over the cars too, so I can maximize my space.

Sounds great, we rent our current house now, but when I buy again a building that size would be awesome.

I'd need to get more cars, which I'm currently not allowed to do. :arghh:

There's other ways to fill a building.

I'm hoping there's space left over to work on a car after I've moved all my stuff in.

Always a bonus, often a challenge, especially around my place.

If people found out I had spare garage space, they'd be wanting to move in

I started a heater core in this Fusion yesterday late at work and finished it this morning after a couple of cups of liquid motivation. Here's a couple of pics of what it takes to get to it.

Here's the prize, I just have to pull the core out.

That is why I hate new cars.

"How do I change a front turn signal?"
"Take the front of the car apart."
"Oh, I'll just take the tickets I'll get instead, thanks."

Not quite that bad, but it's getting there.

I should have doubled up on my Fufu, I'm dragging my ass these last few days. Working nine days in a row, need some funds for a car, along with other funds that I get to help with. The new schedule sucks, but it's money. And I don't have to take apart a car like @65 sporty does!

I was waiting for my youngest son this morning and had a cup of joe, we loaded up his CR125 and took it in to the shop I work at. Installed the RT side clutch case, governor(with a new bearing inside), shifter, clutch cable, filled the trans with oil, filled the coolant. While we were working on this I sent the kid to the Speedway for a cappuccino. Finished the cappuccino, the bike and loaded it up. Got some fuel and it runs again.

I need to do some more research on how to set up the linkage for the power valve, it runs but it doesn't have the top end charge it had before the governor bearing froze up.

Dirt bikes never seem to be the same after you tear into them. Glad I've never owned one, just ridden other people's.

Fufu just ran empty. Time to switch over to something a little stronger, and head over to the storage unit and bring home a car!

I went onto a bike forum and talked with a guy about it, has a lot of knowledge on this model. He gave me some direction and sent me a e-mail with a PDF of the service manual. I found the correct way to set the linkage for the power valve and he governor. I will have to pull the side cover and set it up correctly.
