Strange, typically it is the other way around. If it IS fuel injected then the learning begins, carburetors are easy. You must be a youngster?

I’m no stranger around carbs, just not those feedback POS, which this truck has. Liable to be some mods to the fuel system. At least the fuel pump is on the block and not in the tank. BTW am an old fart - working on my 81st trip around the sun lol!

Nice pickup on the Dakota, those mechanical fuel pumps are definitely easier to work with than dropping a tank!

Agreed! I’d like to get rid of that feedback carb - it’s just a dinky little thing. The truck does have some kind of computer which probably works with the dizzy and carb. Would love to be able to convert the dizzy to EI. Research and probably find the right mix of parts
