88 ? Do you mean 78 ? Eather way , all I got to say is ........ Dam thats a nice truck !

Thanks. That's a very nice collection you have goin there. It's an 88. Have a closer look at the body lines. I explained a little of what i did in reply #25.
I like the 70's body style better but it's tuff to find a clean one to work with up here so i just worked with what i had.

Yah know I did'nt even catch that "secret indy" . Good job ! My favorite is the 77's / 78's . The only reason why I run the 79 quad light grill is that thats my wife's favorite . I gotta keep her happy ! lol And beleive me I know what you mean about trying to find clean 70's truck's to start with . Mine started out as a two wheel drive .

Here's a pic of my 2000 that I traded in for my 07 Yellow Quadcab. It had been repainted about 2 weeks when I got rid of it. Had 103000 miles 5.9l everything but 4wd.

that is absolutely gorgeous

thanks - i did 99% of the work myself. a friend helped rebuild the trans, another did the seat and a really good friend put the final color coats on it after i screwed up the first attempt. i say 99% because i had plenty of help on many other things. it took 6+ years. my wife was about to kill me with all the body filler dust all over the garage.

it was a labor of love. my mom cried when she saw it.
