It is starting

That was all outside, which I'll probably do to this house as well. Been ages since I helped my dad with drywall, but I still remember the basics. That's about it for the big projects, then on to light fixtures, every light is hanging from the ceiling.
Aha, a real fixer-upper, eh?

I have a house to finish before the end of the month. This is where the wall between the kitchen and living room use to be. I wanted to be done with the painting this week. Hopeing it will be next week.
Your dangling lights probably use to be ceiling fans. Hope the plumbing is still there.

Plumbing is all good. Yes, some of the lights were fans, I asked about one when I saw it wasn't there, I thought it was a month ago. Any work done has only made it easier for me. I have a friend who is an electrician if I get that stumped. It will be fun to figure out what I'm doing first, I'd like to do the drywall first, since that will be the messiest task I'll have. Should only set my timeline back a couple days, one wall and two smaller areas.

Looking from upstairs and going down the stairs, their unfinished updating is apparent, they started this nine years ago.

Looks better than the new house I started 9 years ago. I do a little at a time and when done it will be paid for.
Just make sure the roof is good so you can stay dry.

New roof nine years ago, when they built the garage and replaced the windows.

With it having the knee walls upstairs I guess it's a 1 1/2 story house not a full 2 story.

In the 80's today. I went out and ran for the second time in three days, my lungs cleared up when I moved out, and I had an urge to run, so I did! Gonna drop some pounds over the summer and start doing some other healthy activities. So I'm enjoying the sunny weather.

This new format is weird, my sister stopped by and we went to the reopened Casino, get out of Bobs hair I guess, rain on and off today, 56 degrees

It looks a little different, but it works nicely.

Mid to upper 80's, hot in the sun, but there was a good breeze that kept you cool, if they makes any sense. I'll take it.

Worked in a hot attic most of the day. Will be back up there hopefully finishing up tomorrow. At least it is supposed to be overcast. The new format does take some getting use to. I have not tried any attachment as of yet.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a scorcher, 92 and humid. It's only June :screwy: I wonder what August will be like
I wondered the same last year and August was cooler than June. We had a few upper 80's days back in March and some low 20's days in April. So how knows. If only this 3 or 4 inches of rain every four days would stop the humidity levels would drop a bit this heat would be more tolerable.

Rain finally came, gonna get a little more overnight and into the morning. Got two days off, try to get something done on the parts car, been putting that off for too long.

Well they took the rain out of our forecast. Hope some one got it that really needed it. Just maybe my mud holes will finally dry up to the point some work can finally get done.
