Just got an NV4500 (need a 4x4 output shaft) have a clutch, bell housing, flywheel, adapter plate, 4bt engine that I need to go through, starter.... other stuff. Still need an NP205. I think the military diffs and axles will probably be strong enough (if I try really hard not to tear them up!) have to rebuild the VE pump. Should be fun.

Mine was rated at 93hp on the engine tag, probably 200lb/ft torque. I am planning a two stroke mod though so who knows after that!

Power on every stroke, half the frictional losses, at 3,000 rpm I will be making 6,000rpm power... screaming demon!

Guess rock climbing or off roading apparently not in the plan. Forget about any bottom end power like 800 to 1000 rpms. Speed will get you nowhere, just a lot of broken parts.

If I cam it right I should have boatloads of torque. Plus I will be using my m90 supercharger as a scavenge pump plus a turbocharger, so no boost lag. Gears are in the 4.50 range so it will be fun, and nasty. My '93 buries the needle all the way to the post (about 120 according to gps), yet it has 420k on the original engine and will pull a house off its foundation once it spools.

You going to use it to pull? Will be very interesting to watch the build and see it assembled.
