Thanks . I thought I'd be able to get at the rear, through the taillights, but I couldn't figure out the front, and I didn't want to damage it by prying on it.
Thanks. I was wondering about the fuel tanks. The '80 has two, the '78 has only one. I will keep the window regulators, as well as all the dash parts. I thought I would keep the doors.
Thanks , but do to space issues, the '80 is going to have to go. I've had it since May 20, 1980. But it is seriously rusty. I'm taking whatever I need from it, but have a feeling that down the road, I might have wished I kept more. And as for that Step side with no rust - don't depress me .
The time has come to say goodbye to my 1980, but before it goes to Mopar heaven, I want to keep any parts that may be hard to find, in the future, as I am going to restore a 1977.Can anyone suggest what mechanical parts I should keep? I am saving all the trim. Thank you.
I don't know how to post a photo, but the moulding is about 1/2" wide, and goes from the front fender, to the rear of the box, and wraps around the top of the taillight.I can remove the front piece, through the engine area. The door part, by removing the interior trim. But I cannot figure how to...
I am starting to take apart my 1980 D200, that I have owned since May 20, 1980. I have purchased a '78, that is in better shape. In removing the upper chrome trim, that is on the box, I can't figure out how to access the screws, that hold it on. Does anyone know? Thanks.
Most likely came with a 16.5" trim ring, that held a standard Dodge 15" wheel cover inside it. I ordered my new 1980 D200 with full wheel covers, and that's the way they did it.
Mill Supply in Cleveland Ohio has them. Also try LKQ, they have recently purchased Cross Canada auto parts, but I believe they are an American company.
DodgeAddict - I have too many vehicles already! Two Caravans Two convertibles [a Dart and a Sebring] a Cordoba, and now two pick ups - and I live in the middle of a big city. You're right, I need a big piece of property.
