I bought a few trucks recently and one is a 2000 1500 2WD with a knocking 5.2 Automatic. A friend of mine has a new 5.9 long block still wrapped up in plastic. So my question is, what needs to be done to make it work where a 5.2 was? Mainly with the electronics. Thanks for your help.

I just did some trading and wound up with a 97 regular cab 360 SB Dakota. Well it has a 3.55 but the previous owner welded the spider gears! So I'm looking for a Sure Grip for it. I know the only sure way to know is take the rear apart but. Should this be a 27 or 29 spline axles?
