The Dodge truck picture thread.

Looks like a good way to get projects and other things around. The problem would be keeping it hidden so every body did not want to barrow it.

Man, that tow rig looks slick, even though the tail seems to hang way past the axle. It has to have been tested already..........

the guy bought and sold cars and p/u's . he put 63 lincoin continentals rags cars on it , and an imperial or two as well . my hauling will be short trips , but it will haul the racers to the track with ease . car you see this setting atop that roll back bed .

Oh no, never would do that. There’s some issues that need to be addressed on the front of the cab. This was pointed out when I bought the truck. There was bonds lifting up and he was concerned about rain water getting into the cab so he’s up some rubberized sealer on over the bonds. Going to grind that all out and see what’s going on under there.

Also going to lower the truck, van lower control arm and an axle flip with an 8 3/4.

Here’s what we found

Here's my shop truck from years gone by, I'm thinking 92 it started as a 2wd and was dropped for a while then not, I located a frame with a title rebuilt it swapped the rebuilt 360 and build another 727 and swapped the body with the DOTs blessings. The truck had the Dana 44 up front and a 8 3/4 limited slip in the rear.
Fun truck I had it for twenty five years, 85 to 2010.

and AMD doesn't think there is a demand to repop these
That truck was done with mopar fenders, iner fenders and box sides plus a tail gate.
I believe I put a new grill on it also. The body was done in 86 when the truck was 9 years old and painted the red the Daytonas were painted everywhere including core support and inner fenders. Dupont and the local jobber covered the cost of the color / clear on the truck but had a fit and cut me off at a grand. I had to buy the paint for the inside of the bed. That was the early days of base cote/clear cote urathane. Now a grand might not get you a gallon of color.
