Backdated update:

Was hot until Thursday when it dipped down to the mid to upper 80's, whew! But, the wind died down, and I sweat more than when it was 100. Friday was the same. Worked on the 500 after getting off work Friday morning. Was up for 30 hours trying to get it started. I've done myself no favors by swapping parts and ordering parts at the last minute. But I finally got it to crank, but I had no spark. In my stupidity, I killed all power. :sour:

Saturday morning, wet. Big car show and I'm taking the gray car, it's he only one running. Call the stepson and leave a message I'll be there shortly. I get there and he's not home. Called him up, he was out chasing his bosses cows around. So I went alone. Got rained on a few times, but I got a free umbrella with a magazine subscription! Car got a free bath, as did the driver's side interior, I forgot to to the window up! Oh well, it's only vinyl.

Sunday was much nicer, 70's and the sun came out to help.me with my burn, I'm now a redneck. Had a blast and bought three oil pans, one with pickup and windage tray. Gt a grille for a 69 Polara/Monaco. Might become wall art, or I'll sell it to someone who needs it for cheap. I also bought another air cleaner assembly as I don't know which one I'm supposed to have on the 500. Use it or sell it, I find out soon enough. Also got some owners manuals for the Polara and for the '72 W200, along with sales brochures for the '72 model year trucks. Had a blast and can't wait for next year!

@cu440da saw the truck there, but I was a butterfly, and never in the same place for very long. Hope it's running good for you, and you're having fun with it!

Finally now to do the cab!

saw that on FBBO...the overhead shot shows the Charger is in a V shape...it got hit HARD

97° 62% humidity and no rain.
Just got done fixing the master bath lavatory hot water line. Had been shut off since Wednesday. The joys of home repair even when you do it for a living.
Now for the mower deck that needs looking at. Two out of three blades quit turning last night. 20" does not cover much ground. Ether tensioner spring or the belt. I am hopeing the tensioner spring as it can be temporarily fixed till a replacement part comes.
And life goes on.

Ended up being the belt tensioner pully bearing. Gone from a 60" deck to a 42" mowing continues. But will take longer than planed.
