Show off your 4x4!

That seems to be a bad problem with us Mopar guys I think we are possibly going out to Colorado after a cleaner one that is rough but not horrible has a leaf lift no blocks at all 35's with room for more and the interior is awesome it's like a green plaid picnic but not tore up just needs a fresh carpet set

It is, IT IS a problem with us Mopar guys! I just seen a '58 or '59 Dodge Power Wagon W500 I'd KILL to have! (I'd almost trade my '67 on one of those!) Big S.O.B those are! (the one I seen was an ex Fire Dept. truck!) -I know I'd give my left nut for one of 'em! LOL (Wife might have something to say to that)... LOL Damn NICE trucks those were! Dump any of the following: 6.2L HELLCAT Hemi a CAT C8 OR a Cummins 6.7L in the thing and it pull stink off shit!

Only difference is the one I seen was ALL red, without the guy next to it, and no fire dept. lettering on it...... looked repainted some time ago as the red looked a bit fadded, and it had a HUGE black front bumper on it, and equally HUGE rear round tubular rear bumper made of 2 (what looked to be 6 inch diameter capped pipes with some heavy ass plating between them!) also painted black. No lights on the cab roof and the one I seen had a rusty silverish (rusty chrome maybe?) visor on it!

Right..... LOL I tell ya, I'd love to take that '58 or '59 (which ever year it is) Dodge Power Wagon W500, STUFF a 528 Hemi in that thing, and go like a bat-outta-hell with makin' it BEASTLY...... with say, a set of 44" TSL Super Swampers,, I'd probably put a set of Lockers on it, Say a set of Rockwells sounds about fitting for that truck, BECAUSE, its a STEP-SIDE truck STACKS, REAL ones, not like those seen on the Little Red Express, BUT smaller RIG stacks, CHROME to match it........

"BIG "Hemi" Express"... Go to truck pulls and have a blast!

Nice CHROME roll bar in the bed with some sort of "headlight" type lights on it..... Chrome the bumpers, paint the truck Say Hemi Orange and Black, Nice black interior, The Hemi have to have a mild Cam to run a good A/C unit in it..... But flow work done to the heads, and good exhaust from the engine to the stacks..... GAWD Am I dreamin' or what!?

I "COULD" do all that to my '67 but I like the looks of that big F'n W500 for what I all typed out for it...... LOL
The only things I'd do to your 67 if it were mine is either try and bring back the original paint ( like I did with my Warlock ) or paint it satin black . And of course I'd go thru the 383 to make it even more of a beast then it is already . But that's just me .

I could only imagine the look on some poor imports face , looking in the rear view and seeing that coming down on him . :D lol

Hey ! We can all dream . You know how many different trucks I'd build if I had the funds ?
I dream every day I'm at work, helps pass the time. When I'm not working, I'm scheming, on how to get more funds to get the stuff I dream about!

I think with my '67 I am only gonna repaint it, bring back what it is now painted in with a "Refreshing"...... I can tell all of ya tho, The 383, is more then likely gonna stay as-is, it runs, its torquie, and nothing really wrong with it, Besides the fact you all have to remember this truck, was BEFORE I ever had it Oliver Drab Green (Ex. Military truck!) SO, with that said the last owner (owner #2) had it repainted when he got it as a retirement gift from 35 years in the Military (Army) and got it in 1970.... 2 weeks after getting it home is when he had it painted Hemi Orange with a Cream top, which I plan to make it the same color, I am however going to remove the bed and paint the bulk head of the bed as well as the entire back of the cab. when I go "play" I've been told the back of the cab is still Olive Drab Green! BUT thats all that WILL happen, the whole "Hemi WISH" is just that, Wishful thinkin'. unless I become Rich for whatever reason, and then in that case F-it, I'll get the whole rig redone professionally, as well as by that '58 -'59 W500 to boot and dump 528 Hemi's in BOTH of 'em! LOL

I love to dream, it makes my mind think of ways for my next model build, one, and 2, remember guys, I'm working on a '84 Dodge Ram 150 right now...... LOL its stripped down to almost nothing, I had to remove the flat bed they put on it, and fix some tail end frame work, that needed removed and re-welded so.... Nothing real serious, the frame area trhat went past the rear axle swoop to the rear bumper was pretty shot so, I cut it out and replaced it with "C" channel fresh from the metal yard locally.... Then its gonna get painted too (I may end up selling this one, don't know yet) So. and I got that D-50 in mind too.... Just for an "everyday" city ride....... With a 273? Factory D-50, OK? 4 cylinder upgraded to a 273? Holly Hell Horsepower Batman! LOL And still get good MPGs (unlike the '67) LOL

I have a few 4x4s. I never seem to sell anything. I just keep it unless I wreck it! I have a 2010 Crew Cab Cummins that I bought new and I haven't wrecked it yet. It serves as the family minivan and so much more. It pulls our toys (Boat, ATVs, Snowmobiles, Duster) like a champ! Here is a photo of it doing what it does best! In this photo, my Dad and I were just on our way home from a trip to Texas to pick up my Duster in 2014. This was by far my best road trip yet! 5700kms in 64 hours!

I still have my 2003 Dodge quad cab Hemi 4x4 that I also bought new. It is still my wife's daily driver which she loves. I only have this 1 picture from when I removed the bed for some rust repair this fall. I replaced the entire box and fixed up a small hole in the passenger's side cab corner. I probably spent more on it than I could get for it if I sold it but what the hell, It's not for sale so it might as well look decent!

And last of all, here's my 89 that I have been posting all over this site in the last while. This is a photo from when I used to use it like I intended to when I built it. More good times like this soon I hope!
