Whats this and is it missing a pulley??

Not sure if this is an "air pump"??? Also shouldnt it have a pulley?? Trying to get new belts for the truck and the parts store mentioned an air pump??

Yes that's an air pump and it's supposed to have a pulley. No, you don't necessarily need it. It's up to you. You can get a belt for a truck NOT equipped with an air pump

pump is most likely locked up
someone took the pulley off

Thanks guys! This will be my DD so I dont wanna go messing with a lot of the bs under the hood too much. Rather leave it as stock as possible while getting as good fuel mileage as possible.

leaving the air pump offline isn't going to affect it much. That's just for emissions.

It looks locked up, you will get better mileage with it disconnected even if it did work.
