We went to the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Races last night and it was wild. I think there were 2 red flags during the heats and 4 during the feature. The track was pretty fast and the racing was good, but there's a few that found it an expensive night for sure. Only one red flag during Late Model racing so they fared a bit better, but there were quite a few less cars out there for that. Was after midnight when the races finally finished, of course it didn't help that they were an hour late starting due to 2.5 inches of rain on the track yesterday and that also meant that the parking areas were pure swamp. I'm also sure some of the local residents will be squawking due to the late finish, but that area wasn't very developed when the track was built in 1909, so they just need to suck it up........
