W-150 rear drum brake backing plate questions

I am restoring an old '82 W-150 slant six 4x4 4-speed. The rear axle is a Mopar 9.25" with 10" drum brakes. The backing plates have turned into swiss cheeze and I'm having a tough time tracking down replacements. I have found two sources for plates that fit an 8.75" rear end, and the pictures look identical to what I have. Just wondering if the mounting flange on these two diffs are the same. Anybody out there with some experience fixing these?

I think the 8 1/4 might be closer than the 8 3/4. Because 8 3/4 has non c clip axles.
