i have finally brought the 91 dak back to life. hasn't been running for nearly 2 years. so now im just (420) now waiting to get my brakes done and insurance and all that mess out of the way and my baby will be one the road where she belongs. ;)

Good work "derick19" ! There's nothing like bringing something back to life and hearing it run after so long . :thumb:
 
yeah rebuild the engine cam it and bore it over .30 and whatever else needs to be done to make my truck faster and economy friendly.
 
Does the 5.2 need rebuilding ? If not then I'd run that while I looked for a good 5.9 to drop in .

Not a bad looking truck at all! I love ex cab trucks
 
Looks pretty straight & only $800 for a 91 x-cab V8 5.2ltr Dakota is a good score, was it not running when you purchased it ??, what was the deal ?? what did you have too do to it to get her running ?? just curious
 
yes it was running but this moron left the keys and radio on and draind the bat. and all i did really was get a better bat and changed the spark plugs and sea foamed it for the most part. and i bought it from my auto tech teacher when i was in school
 
thanks, that was a good deal for sure, only having to do that little to get it going...
 
welcome, and all i got to do now is get my brakes done and rotors turned, aswell as reg. and insurance and im ready to go
