I managed to find a cab from an 89 with minimal rust (just a little bubbling in the floor pan). The guy I bought it from had a forklift so loading it was not an issue. Unloading it during a pandemic was not a well thought through punch list item. With the help of many pallets, could I just store the laying down on its back? I 'think' I could get off of the flat bed that way with minimal assistance. But, I don't want to store it in a way that will harm it in the long run.
At some point I'm going to have figure out how to move it onto the frame across an easement driveway and onto a gravel parking area. I may rent a small excavator to do it.
