Not a bad idea ! Back when I had my 77 I had a buddy help me when ever I took the roof off and that was more of a pain then it was worth . Then when I got my 78 that I used to have I built an A-Frame out of some stock I had kicking around with an old winch . That's when I found out that they did'nt make the gaskets ( or seals ) for the roof anymore , Luckly I was able to fab some up . The only problem I found running topless or with the soft top I had is trying to talk to the passenger over the sound of the mudders I was running . It was bad enough with the roof on but take the roof off and it was allmost imposable while you were moveing .

From hoodless to hood on. On my car I used 5 dollars worth of rope to hoist my hood up in the air and put it on my car by myself. Good job.
