Transfered from LVC forums. I own a 1998 Lincoln Navigator, recently sold my 1993 Ford Bronco. Second vehicle is a 1998 Lincoln Mark 8, replacing a Porsche 928. I've owned sports cars and 1/2 ton suv/pickup vehicles, and motorcycles for the past 43 years. Used to do my own work, but currently without a driveway or garage, and so now have to rely mostly on pros to do my wrenching. I'm semi retired, and will be moving permanently to Florida in the near future. I enjoy sitting in front of my computer in the middle of any night I can't sleep, and just read about all the experiences that other people have with the same vehicle types that I own. Helps tremendously when I get around to working on it myself, it's just like remembering doing it myself long ago. So thanks for all those of you who volunteer up your tricks of the trade on how to fix things when they wear out/go wrong.
