So I have replaced everything on my 98 Ram that is a wear item. New control arm bushings, tierod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, ball joints, sway bar bushings, everything but I still have play in the steering. Is there a way to adjust the slack in the steering box? I have heard that you can adjust them but i may have been mistaken. I really don't want to buy a new box but if I need to I will. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. The truck has 95XXX miles and it is a 1/2 ton 2wd.
