The 79 d100 I just purchased has no shifting linkage .it was auto .on the column originally.and I would like to put it back.on the column.could someone tell me what year trucks parts would interchange with the 79? It would be helpful in locating the correct parts. The Haynes manual dose not have much info or very good diagram.I Would appreciate info.

Which transmission do you have. If it’s the A904 I believe you can get linkages from any 79 up through the 80s. If I recall correctly I found a diagram of mine in a LMC catalog or somewhere online with some google action.

I’m having troubles getting mine adjusted correctly. Can only go as far as drive. And I have to beat on it to do that. It’s binding up I believe. Trying to find the correct nylon bushings as mine are all gone.
