Dropping this '66 440 in the '88 D100 here really soon. I've already considered and purchased most items including, rear sump pan/tube, smaller brake booster and mounts/brackets...im extremely curious now, how ill adapt the power steering. The engine has a Saginaw pump, and I've been reading mix matched accounts stating that I could use the old pump, and now I've read that I could use the existing pump from the SB '88...Anyone have any thoughts or experiences? I'd like to have a clue before I dig in. Thanks.

For light duty trucks "yes" heavy duty "no" pressure hose is larger on the HD. Different fitting on the pump and sector.
