Rear Shocks

89 Dakota 2WD 3.9. What shocks are you guys using?

I have the best luck with Gabriel shocks, I get the ultras

I don't have a Dakota, I do use lot's on Monroe shocks at work. A lot of the C barge guy's like KYB

KYB are junk. I haven't been able to keep kybs on anything more than 6 months. Too soft. Like not even having shocks. Though my most recent set were a set of rancho on My 12, 1/2 ton 2wd ex Fastenal truck. So far so good.
If I remember right rancho are made by Monroe.
Monroe used to be good, my last few sets haven't done the job. I went back to Gabriel each time.
