Hi to everyone.. Usually there will be heavy loads on my truck in each ride. So I am planning to install a turbocharger on it. I would like to know the price range of a turbocharger. I have seen turbochargers starting from $995 on the website of BC Diesel Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo chargers Systems | BC Diesel . Does all turbochargers cost in this range? If you know any other turbocharger at low cost and with sufficient performance please tell me.

Hot Rod magazine did budget builds using cheap Chinese turbos and got good numbers without breaking the bank, the only caveat being free routing of the tubes in the dyno cell. They didn't have to worry about fenders and radiators.
