Here's some pics of my old 1986 Chevy K30. I bought it around 1989 with 48,000 some odd miles on it. It had a 350,TH400 trans, and a NP205 transfer case. It had a Dana 60 for the front axle and a Dana 70 on back with 4:10 gears. I had replaced the front fenders, doors and dually fenders and a deer broke the left dually fender ,and had that bed side repaired. I had it repainted added the quarter cap with a stainless steel wing on the roof. A another year or two I gutted the interior and put in a custom aftermarket benchseat, dynamat, new carpet,a Grant woodgrain steering wheel. Had the 350 and TH400 rebuilt another year later.
The pics are from not long after I had purchased it to when I finally got done fixing it up over the years till I sold it back in 2001. Too bad I couldn't get all the pics to load. I did see it for sale a couple years ago and the 350 was swapped out for a 454. The truck was looking pretty bad, needed cleaned and waxed good, otherwise nobody gave a crap about it. I should have bought it back just to rescue it but I didn't and still wish I would have.

No 90's for me, I have an 02 2500HD Sierra. I just got it a few weeks ago, down traded my 06 Cummins 2500 for it. It's not a bad truck, doesn't leak a drop of fluid even with 172,000 on the odometer. It's a 6 litre gas motor though so it's not close to the Cummins but it's all mine, lol.

That is one beautiful Chev! Love it! Just think, if it was a dodge.... :p
Thanks Dodgetkboy78. I love those older style cabs, more boxy looking and big hoods. I wouldn't mind finding a '92-'93 Dodge with a diesel and do it the same way as my 'ol Chevy.

I was going through some more pics and found a few pics of my first pick-up I bought when I think I was 16 years old. It was a 1975 GMC Sierra Grande and bought it for like $2500.00 back then in 1988. I think it may have been green, but the previous owner gave it a cheap paint job to brown and tan, which looked good too me back thenscan0004.jpgscan0005.jpgscan0006.jpg.
