Thought I would share some pictures of crew cab. This series shows the progress from start to current state. She's powered by a 360 4 barrel and a 727 right now. But in the future I would love to complete a 24v Cummins swap.

This was the first time I laid eyes on her she was a bit rough looking after sitting out in elements in the southern interior of British Columbia, but it was definitely love at first sight!

Just unloaded from the trailer and waiting at a friends shop for her heart transplant, and a damn good cleaning!

Rockers resprayed, this was all done in a few days time to get her ready for use in me and my wife's wedding. She said she wanted to use it with only about a week to go but I got it cleaned up and looking good in time.

Parked with her younger relative, my 96 Ram 2500.

I wanted something to cover the lug nuts and found these short spikes they aren't for everyone but I like them.

On our wedding day, gotta love a woman that would sooner use a project 1979 Dodge truck over a mint 96 Ram hahaha!

Got her some trim rings, thought about going to full stainless baskets but this look really grew on me, just need some dually center caps.

Just a shot I took here in town loved the old girl with the beautifully restored Canadian National Railway caboose.

And one last one from the dying days of this summer was a beautiful 30 degree day. Oh and that's Celsius up here hahaha!

Your crew cab on the trailer is just ....... Woaw i am really impressed with such a convoy a young dodge hauling an old dodge. Awesome aint it?

I can understand it being love at first site . If I had saw that myself , I would have been bringing her home as well . I'd also be considering a Cummins swap and use it to tow my Warlock to the track . Good job so far Adventurer !

I know where one is, or was, just sitting there, "nope, won't sell", ugh. Glad you found yours!

dodgefred it was a really fun trip we got a lot of looks pulling it back, a few thumbs up and a some wow "I've never seen one before" comments. The truck and trailer is my buddy's it's an 01 24v 6 speed, they make pretty well the ultimate tow rig. That truck has towed just about everyone we know and has never given us any issues until this summer when a seal leaked while he was on a road trip to bring his own crew cab home and it chewed 6th gear. The trailer was custom built for another guy out of a section of Freightliner frame, it has axles that slide forward that drop the back end down 8-12" and a big winch which make loading a breeze even when its a big girl like the crew cab.

Thanks all for the kind words guys it's been a real fun project so far. I can't wait for the thaw and next spring so I can start getting back to work
on making her the ultimate tow rig.

Sorry to hijack the tread but......I was very impress by this transporter.......the Fargo L700 moves from Sorel Québec to western Ontario......

Only bad thing about the Cummins swap is it makes the front end so darn heavy. Got a friend with am 89 D250 Cummins and has gotten stuck in wet grass on level ground.
It would be a tempting swap tho.

I was the middle man between the seller and the buyer. The Fargo is in Corruna, I think...and you're right, long time without news by the buyer......
