I did a frame up rebuild on my '85 Ram. When I took the Cab off there were more washers on onside of the truck than the other. But when it was time to put everything back together I don't remember what side had more washers. So how do square up everything?

I would either try to use some sort of point of reference on the frame and body and measure the the difference to see if there was any. Or if you had a long enough straight edge go from left frame mount to right and put a level on it. Make sure all your tires are aired up properly and you are on a fairly level floor. Personally I would try to find some sort of point of reference to measure from.

Also extra washers could have maybe been a remnant of some sort of steps that may have been on there a some time? You remember if these extra washers where between the body and the frame or just on the bottoms?
