So far nothing here but a little snow and a lot of cold. Not sure we will get above freezing this week.

Sun is out here but it's 37 and breezy. Supposed to be 70 Tuesday and well, will probably be in the 30's or lower soon after that.

It was 50 today, but cool down coming tomorrow with the chance for some snow. Winter isn't over for me yet

Had the front door open yesterday. It was nice and also a good day to air things out.
28° this morning and had to coax the water to thaw the frozen water line. Still had a trickle. Took about fifteen minutes to get full flow.
Will get to warm for snow, but rain is supposed to get to us later today. Sun is shining right now.
But yesterday was a beautiful day until the wind shifted to the north.

You can keep that up there. Wishing I could also send some northern cold air back home. But it has nothing to due with lake affect.
We get what is called Canadian plains air or artic air. That is when the trough dips this far south. It's supposed to be 38° per the thermometer. But that north wind cuts right threw when it carries enough moisture.

30 isn't all that unusual for here but getting into the teens is. Lately it's been in the high 70's low 80's. Low 70's is normal high for this time of year. The Gulf of America is already 68 just off shore and that's usually not a good sign but the Gulf waters were pretty warm last year and the Hurricane season was fairly quiet.
