It is starting

Doesn't get like that here very often. Been several years since one that looked like that.
I was born in Pasadena lived in LaPorte. It snowed there once just a tiny bit one year. Talk about some happy little kids to see snow for the first time.

I was born in the NE and came to Pasadena for the first time when I was 11....only stayed a few months because mom and my sister didn't like it. Mom passed away when I was 12 and dad's job was moving to NY state. No family there at all so back to Pasadena we went. Had fun in the snow up north but could tell dad didn't much like it lol and just about all of his family lived in and around the Pasadena and Deer Park area. One of dad's brothers was a home builder so it was a no brainer to move back here.

A few years ago when we had that ice storm, I got out in it (pretty much no traffic) and had a good time in the empty parking lots lol.

Empty parking lots are fun until they kick you out. Still private property, has something to do with insurance.
Looks like I maybe stuck here this winter. Preparing for cold weather will be fun. Not really. Wind breaks are being planned. May buy a diesel heater or two before the winter is over to supplement the propane.

It's been a while since I have been on here, another frosty morning here in MI. The days have been in the 50's with 30's over night. I am getting my plow truck ready for what's coming in the coming months

Yea! Its been slow here, use to see new post every day. I try checking in a couple of times a week. Often stuff of no interest or plan craziness.
I have done some crazy things, but always had a reasonable spending limit.

well it's rainy today and i'm just kicking it . but i'm in dutch with a master cylinder for my pop's old starcraft motorhome . it's a dodge p350 , p400 chassi . the brake system is a tamdem duel type with a brake package used by dodge and ih , in 1971 through 1974 . this master has giant bores , one is 1.75 bore and the second one is 1.48 . and this system applies braking to front and rear front the large bore and the other two rear wheel cylinders on the rear with the 1.48 bore . it's a 60 percent rear and 40 percent front . man can any body help me find a new or rebuilt master cylinder for this thing . i can text pics of what it looks like as well as my books pics of the system if needed . thanks , i'll really like this thing and it was my pop's , need i say more . oh ya i just put new shoes all the way around on her .

No brake shops out there Paul. You know the old fashioned ones that could make that master cylinder like new.

well i did bring it to get reman'd , it was sleeved and the boss man got sick , and they can't find it . there was even a built kit purchased for it , but they can't ifnd it . so i'm looking for them , so i can drive it , she runs wonderful . it's parked in my driveway and it's always in the way .

nope i've already looked at those . those are the late type , mine is the early tamdem type . it was a shortly used system . and if i'm lucky i'll find one sitting on some old timers truck parts shelve , built or not , new used i don't care at this point . it's only been since may of this year , that it's been lost . hoping for a needle in the parts world .
