Hi guys,
I'm new here to the website but could use some help. I bought a 74 d 100 and am contemplating changing out the cab, frame is perfect but the truck came from Florida and body has seen better days.
Can you tell me exactly what year cabs would be a direct replacement? and I plan on bolting my 74 front end up to it?

72 through 81 I think, there is a variation in there somewhere where the doors need appropriate hardware before/after but as long as you get good doors with your new cab it shouldn't be an issue. (Actually I think with some care you can use cabs up to 93 on yours but that's getting a bit trickier.)) This is probably incorrect data in some way or another but now that I've replied those with exact details should jump in and point out any inaccuracies. Good luck with it.
