Hit the local junkyard today, and one of the latest arrivals is a short step-side with HD 8-lug suspension, floating Dana rear, Big Block/Auto. It has front discs, but they're sitting on the ground with no wheels.
The intake, exhaust manifolds and distributor are gone, which makes me think it might have been hot-rodded, though it looks totally stock.
I'm going back tomorrow for the rear-sump oil pan and pick-up.
Anyone heard of a combo like this?
