How wide can you go

So I recently came into my dad's old sweptline. But of a Johnny Cash unit as he called it. Registration says 68 front clip headlights tell me it's a 62. Anyways. Doing a disk brake conversion because everything's seized from sitting and the price is right. Wonder how wide of a tire she can fit at stock height? I like the road course racer stance and hoping I can fit 11wide up front and 12+ in the rear. Has anyone ever tried this or know?

Preferably none. The body's still in great shape for its age. Got a set of cheap 15x10 wheels. Time to start measuring

So. If anyone's curious on a 2wd I've got 10" wide wheels with a 3.75 backspace and run 295 up front with no issue

You know you still have to turn them things to go the direction you want to go.
They will also ware components faster. But I that's what you want.

3.75 backspace allows me turn full turn. No rubbing no issues. And yes I know oversized tires are harder on joints and bearings

Would also be harder on your arms if not for power steering.
