I'm looking to buy a 1989 Dodge D350 diesel truck and notice it had one battery. I thought diesel engines had two batteries. There is only room in the engine bay for one, if that's a clue.
Yes, the first gen diesels only had one battery. Didn't they start using the Cummins engine in 87 and not sure when they started using 2 batteries either.
