I have a 1968 D100 full size bed with rebuilt 318 and 727 auto on the dash transmission. I would like to lower the truck. I am not hauling or trailering. Do I need to use a flip kit before I use bags?

Welcome aboard from NJ. Nice 68 you have there. Sorry, I know nothing about lowering as I would never do it. It doesn't help if you HAVE to haul something with weight and every time I see a bump coming on the road ahead or a high curb or angle getting into a parking lot, I cringe and defensively lift my butt off the seat to avoid a "road spanking". Also, in the eastern rust belt, I wouldn't want to help the salt spray get onto everything as well as helping mice & other little critters find it easier to make a nest. Let the little buggers climb if they want to reside in my "apartment"! LOL
