Has anyone moved thier fuel tank? 61 to 71 D200

Between the rear frame rails behind the rear axle, I have seen a lot of Chevy's and Ford's this way

Not so much moved....just made it bigger on an A100.

Not the same truck I know.

Thanks kiwigtx. I did a 69 RR a few years ago and after it was done he bought an a100. Nice one too.

My motor home tank is 38 gal. If you want to feel the pain at every fill. If you are planning on a lot of traveling it maybe just the thing. Your going to have to find a different spot for the spare.

I've known a couple of people who have swapped in ramcharger tanks, but I'm not sure of all the details. I've always liked the fuel filler behind the license plate bracket on a friend's 1985 Ramcharger, but I'm not completely sure of the ins and outs of how that particular bumber fitment would work on a truck bed.

Thanks for looking Paul. Kenny Exline at ExlineCustoms.com fabbed all the floor step and rocker parts along with both pieces for the front mounts and the front end piece for the rockers. I got the dimentions for the rear mount box(inner and outer) and had a local sheet metal shop break them for me, then repaired the "U" shaped rear mounts. Kennys work is incredible and i would recomend his parts to anyone working on a sweptline truck. If theres any particular part you wish to see, let me know and i will try to get you some pics or a drawing or whatever else i can help you with. Postcar.

no problem postcar , today's world of exact lettering , lol . thanks for your offering i've got several that are in need of rust repairs , but i was also thinking about those old style door latches on the 61 thru 66 with the pull door handles , there crap and its the point of having the pin wheel made from alum and the striker made from steel . on the 67 thru 71 , there all steel and use a push buttom door handle . there are several parts that must be repaired and modified as well . i'll try contacting kenny at exlinecustomauto.com and see if he has anything to help with these .
