Working on a 1995 (Last year of OBD-1) V8 Dakota w/auto trans. I need to find out what the factory ECM part # was as it has no numbers on it at all. May be a replacement ECM, I don't know but, I may need to replace it at some point & was wondering if there is a way to tell what is has in it. Any suggestions? TIA

Don't know the part number but am here to tell you any PCM from 93-95, auto or stick will work. Been there, done that dozens of times. OBD1 and no transmission interface makes them super simple. Oh, have even used a 94 Ram 1500 PCM on a 95 Dak. Last few I got were pretty cheap on car-part.com

Thanks for the info Scoots. I'll check prices on car-part.com & see if they're better than RockAuto. They list about 5 different part #s, that's why I inquired.

Your welcome. Oh there gonna be a bit cheaper but usually hard to find, it's junk yards. I've never gotten a bad one. Knock on wood. Just looked on RA and see only one left @ $167. You should grab it, if you don't I may. ;-)
