Has anybody out there found a conversion kit that would fit a 1947 WD15?
You could try having a look here at Scarebird. Be prepared for a wait on parts - and be patient as he doesn't reply immediately....but the products look good. I have not used this particular offering, but I have a different package from him.
Thanks! I seen the site but wasnt sure lol. Ill contact them and see, they show one for a 1/2 ton but mine is 3/4
Make contact and they may be able to help you - not all products are on the website.
Will do, thanks!
Its been almost 4 weeks, is that normal for them to take this long to respond?
Try - firstname.lastname@example.org or - email@example.com
Thank you, I'll give that a try
Message sent, We'll see if this works. Thanks again
back in the day , i converted some volvo front rotors n calipers to my 37 dodge p/u with 4 1/2 bc . whats your bolt circle for wheel mounting ?
I bought a conversion kit last year for my Dodge D100 58. My contact was Mark and the email firstname.lastname@example.org The kit contains 2 adapter plates and hubs that fit the original spindle. Rotors and calipers are modern (Ford Ranger and GMC) I am very satisfied with this kit. Don't forget to dismount the residual pressure valve in the master cylinder if there is one otherwise the pads will stay in contact with the rotor and will heat.
Thanks. I contacted Mark a couple weeks ago. He did't have anything that would work with mine being a 3/4T. Speedway Motors has a solution...They sell a Ford Axle that'll fit the frame perfectly, and build it up from there. Around $1000 complete with calipers, rotors, pads, etc.
Sorry Paul I forgot to get back with you. I'll try and measure when I get home in the morning. Thanks!
