what is your opinion of dodge ram 5.9 magnum?

Some had cylinder head problems as in don't ever get it hot.

Have have the 5.9 in my 2500, and it's been great to me. I have 246,xxx miles on it.

have had great service out of a few of them now. most of them have cracked heads between the valve seats but it sure doesnt seem to cause issues.

relatively speaking, that is...... Id definitely take one over most other engines. I like the 318/5.2, a little better yet (for my usage anyhow) .
