Vehicle is 1999 Durango, Dash light that says "BRAKE" does not go out, ABS light is not lighted; there is no master cylinder level sensor so that is not the cause, it is not the parking brake pedal switch, jumpered that and that is not the fault, it is not the proportioning valve switch, jumpered it and no change, put scan tool on vehicle, no ABS faults.

What am I missing???

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

check you e brake pedal. Either the switch needs adjusted or the e brake cable. First try pulling up on the pedal to see if the light goes out.

You could try what the pilot of a Continental Airlines flight did as we taxied down the runway at Honolulu back in 1987.....he unscrewed the lamp.....we took off a few minutes later. :woot:
True story. They had great Honey Roasted peanuts. :)
