I have a dana 70 out of a 1991 dodge dually. The rear end has 307 gears. Does anyone know if it will work ok with a granny low transmission. I am trying t get less rpms on the highway, thanks for any help.
Depends upon if there will still be enough final gearing in granny low to get what ever load you maybe pulling to move and keep it moving. Other wise see no reason why it would not work. If the 1991 was Cummins or V10 powered will have a large yoke on the differential that could be a problem adapting.
