Will a 1988 Ram Cab and bed fit on a 1976 frame

it should . u may have ti change the attachment holes in the bed to line uo with the frame

There are two spots that are different for the box next to the fuel tank. But if you take those brackets off the old frame and put them on the new you'll be good.
HOWEVER... If you're swapping fuel tanks also then the cross-members in the middle will need to be swapped too.

Make sure you get the back cab mounts from the donor truck. They may be different. I know they were going 93 to 74.

Yes, it can fit, but you may need to do some work. The cab and bed mounts might not line up right. You may need to cut or move them. The wiring and fuel lines could be different too. Measure both frames to be sure. Some people have done swaps like this, but it takes time and tools. It’s a good idea to talk to someone who has done it before or a shop that works on old trucks.
